FLASHFORCAST // PRIVACY

YOUR DATA
SHOULDN'T BE A MYSTERY.

This policy explains what information FlashForcast may receive when you use this website, why we use it, when third parties may receive information, and the choices available to you.

Effective / Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. Who operates FlashForcast

FlashForcast is an independent digital property of DVMPE, operated by David Vox Mullen as a sole proprietor in Illinois, United States. Questions about this policy or privacy requests may be sent to mail@flashforcast.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you choose to send us

FlashForcast does not currently use account registration, checkout, or a website contact form. If you email us, we receive the information you voluntarily include, such as your email address, name, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide.

Basic website and server information

Like most websites, our web host and technical infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the site. This may include an IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and similar server-log information.

Sensitive information

Please do not send passwords, account credentials, Social Security numbers, financial account information, health information, biometric information, or other sensitive personal information to FlashForcast by email. We do not intentionally request biometric identifiers or biometric information through this website.

3. How we use information

We may use information we receive to:

  • respond to questions, corrections, product submissions, or partnership inquiries;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents;
  • maintain editorial or business records where reasonably necessary; and
  • comply with legal obligations or protect legal rights.

We do not use information submitted to us to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies, tracking & affiliate links

FlashForcast contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate links. When you follow one of those links, the destination site or affiliate network may use cookies, referral parameters, pixels, or similar technologies to recognize that FlashForcast referred the visit and, where applicable, attribute a signup or purchase.

Those technologies are operated under the third party's own privacy practices. FlashForcast does not control cookies or tracking that a third-party site places after you leave FlashForcast.

Current site practice // FlashForcast does not currently operate its own behavioral-advertising program or intentionally sell personal information. We do not currently use personal information collected on FlashForcast for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices or technology stack materially change, this policy will be updated and any legally required choices or consent mechanisms will be added.

5. Third parties & service providers

Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the website and communications, such as web hosting, domain/DNS, email forwarding or delivery, security, and infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a legitimate transfer or reorganization of the website or business.

Affiliate partners and destination websites are independent third parties. Their collection of information on their own sites is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.

6. Sale, sharing & targeted advertising

FlashForcast does not currently sell personal information for money. Based on the site's current operation, FlashForcast also does not intentionally “share” personal information collected on this site for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising as those concepts are defined by major U.S. state consumer privacy laws.

Affiliate referral links are used to attribute referrals and commissions. Clicking such a link takes you to a third party that may independently collect information. If future site technology causes FlashForcast itself to engage in activity legally defined as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, we will update our disclosures and provide applicable opt-out mechanisms.

7. Your privacy choices & state rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to FlashForcast, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, or opting out of certain uses. You may send a request to mail@flashforcast.com. We may need to verify enough information to reasonably confirm the request and will respond as required by applicable law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Even when a particular state-law threshold does not apply to FlashForcast, we may choose to honor a reasonable request when we can do so safely and lawfully.

8. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a legacy “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no universally accepted standard governing DNT responses, and FlashForcast does not currently change its own site behavior in response to DNT signals. Because FlashForcast does not currently operate its own sale/sharing or cross-context behavioral advertising program, there is presently no FlashForcast opt-out preference for those activities to apply.

Where a legally recognized opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control is required to be honored by an applicable law and our practices become subject to that requirement, FlashForcast will honor it as required. Third-party websites reached through our links control their own response to browser privacy signals.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, to maintain appropriate business or editorial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the site, or comply with law. Server logs and infrastructure records may be retained according to the practices of the service providers that operate those systems.

10. Security

FlashForcast uses HTTPS for the website and takes reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No website, email system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information that we do not need.

11. Children

FlashForcast is a business-technology publication and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact mail@flashforcast.com so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

12. External websites

FlashForcast links to websites we do not own or control. A link does not make FlashForcast responsible for another site's privacy, security, terms, content, or data practices. Review the destination site's policies before providing personal information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as FlashForcast, its technology, or legal requirements change. The effective/last-updated date at the top will identify the current version. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it as required.
